Hello,
I purchased a printer in August 2023 and it included the one year warranty. The warranty expired and now there is an error message saying "Check Your Account: A problem occurred with your HP account and you will be unable to print until the issue is resolved." I have logged into my account and all it says is that my warranty has expired and wants me to buy a new one. My toner and ink are fine and it was working fine until the warranty expired.
I have waited on hold for 20 minutes, been switched to multiple agents and then I get told that they can’t help me because my warranty has expired. I have tried the “call me” number and waited for 10 minutes and no one answers. I have a fairly new printer that I can’t print from unless I pay you money for something I don’t need. Can anyone please help with this issue? I just want to print again!
Thank you!

Hi @Ann1256,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to assist you.
I understand you're experiencing an issue with printing on your printer as it has an account related error.
Do you have the same issue when you make a copy on the printer standalone? (Place an original document on the scanner glass and make a copy to confirm hardware is working fine)
To understand the issue and help you, please share the details listed below:
- Exact model number/product number(SKU number) of your HP Product (Click herefor information on how to find the model number/product number).
- May I know which application are you using to print?
- Were there any changes made to your printer recently?
- May I know which devices are you using to print eg: Windows PC, Mac, or Smartphone (Android or iPhone)?
Note: Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.
Take care and have a great day ahead!
