Hi @stylioan,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you're encountering an error code on your HP 2515 printer after changing the ink cartridges. The "C" sign could indicate various issues depending on the specific model and printer's configuration. Here are a few general troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue.
- Restart the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a couple of minutes, and then plug it back in. This process can sometimes reset the printer and clear error messages.
- Check the Ink Cartridges Installation: Make sure the ink cartridges are properly installed. Open the printer cover and ensure that each cartridge is securely in place.
- Inspect for Jammed Paper: Even if you've already cleaned the printer, double-check for any small pieces of paper or debris that might be causing a blockage. Use a flashlight to get a clear view of the printer.
- Reset the Printer: Many HP printers have a reset option that you can access through the printer's menu. Refer to your printer's manual or HP's support website for instructions on how to perform a reset.
- Update Printer Firmware: Ensure that your printer's firmware is up to date. Sometimes, outdated firmware can cause compatibility issues with new ink cartridges. Check HP's official website for firmware updates for your printer model.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
