@RichyPerez, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
If your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e All-in-One Printer is indicating a printer failure and asking you to contact HP support, there are several steps you can take to attempt to resolve the issue before reaching out to support.
Restart the Printer:
- Turn off the printer and disconnect the power cord.
- Wait for 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord and turn the printer on.
Run HP Smart:
- Download and run the HP Smart. Follow the prompts to diagnose and fix common printing issues.
- Refer: Use Diagnose & Fix in HP Smart to repair common printing issues (Windows, macOS) | HP® Support
Update Printer Firmware (Update the firmware on an HP printer | HP® Support)
- Go to the HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads page. Enter your printer model number and search for the latest firmware update. Follow the instructions to download and install the firmware update.
Reset the Printer:
- Perform a factory reset to restore the printer’s default settings. This option can usually be found in the Setup or Maintenance menu.
Clean the Print Head:
- Open the cartridge access door.
- Remove the ink cartridges and gently clean the print heads with a lint-free cloth.
Verify All Connections:
- Ensure that all connections (power, USB, Ethernet) are secure.
- If using a wireless connection, ensure the printer is connected to the correct network.
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
