Since setting up my new HP Envy 6055e printer, I frequently get an error code 0 and both indicator lights come on. I've checked the cartridges, both are fine and I can usually print after a short delay. When there's obviously nothing wrong, why does the error code come on? This will sometimes occur after adding paper.

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you are getting E0 error on the printer, I am glad to assist you.

An E0 error indicates an unusable cartridge.

  • This occurs when one or both ink cartridges need attention. Reseat both cartridges, clean the ink cartridge contacts, restart the printer, and replace one or both ink cartridges if necessary.
