macOS 11.0 Big Sur

Every few days my printer shows up offline, and the only way I can fix is to reboot the computer.  I use WiFi at home to connect to the printer.  Details:

Mac OS Big Sur 11.6

HP Office Jet Pro 8610

Background:

A couple months ago I had problems with the printtool process constantly asking for my password to "modify printer settings" and accountsd constantly asking for Keychain password).  Apple Support had me upgrade to Big Sur, and the problem went away.  But recently printtool is again asking to modify printer settings.

Today I have used the HP Uninstaller Tool, then reloaded HP Smart, but I still cannot print.

As a patch, is there some process that I can restart, instead of having to reboot each time this happens?

As a patch I found that turning the WiFi off/on on the Mac allows me to print.

One common scenario is if you have a dual band router, 5 and 2.4 channels, the printer is not reliably connecting to the 5 ghz channel. Change the Ssid on the 2.4 channel to a unique name and only allow the printer to connect to the 2.4 channel.

Since I don't have to do anything to the printer to get the connection working, I think it connect to WiFi ok.  But maybe the problem you describe happens to my Mac?  Wondering if I can implement your suggestion there.
