HP Officejet 6500A e710a-f
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have tried everything I can think of to get my printer to work. It is an HP Officejet 6500e710a-f

  • I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers.
  • I have changed the ink cartridges
  • I have cleaned the printheads
  • Printhead alignmeent fails
  • The test page comes out with very faint black ink
  • Nothing is printed in colour (except for the title of the page, ' Windows Printer Test Page', which prints in CYAN.
  • I have initiated the HP Print and Scan Doctor 5.0 tool but to no avail.

Nothing seems to be working.

I would suggest manually soaking the printehead as described in the post here.  Go through all the steps before soaking the printhead, including checking the seating of the cartridges and the vents.
