Hi, 

 

We ar having trouble with our HP Paperwide printer. Staff are trying to print and it says 'the printer is in use'. 

 

I have tried turning it off and back on. I have also tried unpluging it at the back of the macine and at the wall, waiting 15 seconds as suggested on one troubleshooting site, plug back in. Neither of those worked. 

 

I don't use that printer so tried to add it to my list of printer but an pop up window appeard saying 'Unable to communicate with the printer at this time. unable to connect to 'Pagewide Airprint._ipps.local.' due to an error'. Following this I read to try deleting the printer from my printer list and to re add. I didn't ask our staff to try this after I was unsuccessfully able to add it. 

 

Sacnning was also attemted to see if the scan would appear at the computer however this did not work either. 

 

When creating my account here on the help centre, I tried to add my device using the product and serial numbers however they were not detectable.
