HP ENVY 110, I continue to receive printer intervention error when attempting to print.  However, it appears all drivers are installed.  I have to re-start the print spooler each time to print a document.

Hi @Jeffie1959

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

It sounds like your HP ENVY 110 is stuck in a cycle where the print spooler needs to be restarted every time you print. This usually happens due to corrupted print jobs, outdated drivers, or spooler service issues. Here’s how to fix it:

1. Reset the Print Spooler Permanently

  • Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and hit Enter.
  • Scroll down to Print Spooler, right-click it, and select Properties.
  • Set Startup Type to Automatic.
  • Click Stop, then Start again, and hit Apply.

2. Clear the Print Queue

  • Open Command Prompt as Administrator (Windows + X → Command Prompt (Admin)).
  • Type the following commands one by one
    net stop spooler
    del /Q /F %systemroot%\System32\spool\PRINTERS\*
    net start spooler
  • This clears any stuck print jobs that might be causing the error.

3. Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers

  • Open Device Manager (Windows + X → **Device Manager`).
  • Expand Printers, right-click your HP ENVY 110, and select Update driver.
  • If updating doesn’t work, Uninstall the printer, restart your PC, and reinstall the latest drivers from HP’s support page.

4. Run HP’s Troubleshooter

  • HP has a Diagnose & Fix tool in the HP Smart app that can detect and resolve spooler-related issues.
  • You can find HP’s official troubleshooting guide here.

Try these steps and let me know if you need further guidance! Hopefully, this gets your printer working without needing to restart the spooler every time.
