Hello - I have been using my printer regularly up until two days ago. When I switched it on there was no sound, no lights absolutely nothing. I took out all the plugs and left it for about 10 minutes then plugged everything in again, but still nothing. It is absolutely dead - no sound whatsoever coming from it. I have never had any problems with this printer until this happened. Can anyone suggest what might be the problem. I really need my printer at the moment.

Thank you for youre reply and website address. Having read through this site I think I might need a new power cord. I have gone into HP supplies but I have no idea how to find the cord for my printer. There are so many listed with all sorts of numbers. I would be very grateful if you could advise. My power cord number has a bar code number which I have keyed in but again this comes up with many different power cords and I don't know which one I should chose.
Thank you:smileyfrustrated:
