The paper feed light is on the information light is on and one of the ink cartridge lights is on. I've unplugged the printer numerous times. Last week, that allowed me to print this week the power light does not come on and I get no response from the printer (HP 4152e). I have also updated the driver on my computer as well as attempting to update the software on the printer. I also have replaced the inkjet cartridges. I am not using Bluetooth to communicate between computer and printer. I am using a printer cable.

Hi @PatitoFeo ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are facing a combination of paper jams and hardware issues with your HP DeskJet 4152e. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the problem:
1. Check for Paper Jams
Even though the paper jam might not be visible, there could still be small fragments or obstructions inside the printer. Here’s how you can thoroughly check for jams:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it.
- Open all access doors (input tray, output tray, and cartridge area).
- Gently remove any paper you find inside the printer, including small torn pieces. Use a flashlight to check areas that might be hard to see.
- Check the rear paper feed as well, as paper could be stuck there.
- Manually move the rollers to ensure they’re not jammed or stuck.
2. Hard Reset the Printer
- Unplug the printer from the power outlet.
- Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds to fully discharge the internal components.
- Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
3. Reset the Ink Cartridges
- Turn off the printer and unplug it again.
- Open the ink cartridge access door and remove the cartridges.
- Clean the electrical contacts on the cartridges and in the printer with a lint-free cloth lightly moistened with water.
- Reinsert the cartridges and close the access door.
- Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
4. Check Power Supply and Connections
- Ensure the printer's power cable is securely connected to the printer and the power source.
- If possible, try using a different power outlet or check if another device works with the current outlet to rule out power issues.
- Confirm that the USB printer cable is properly connected between the printer and the computer.
5. Printer Firmware Update Update the firmware on an HP printer
Since you mentioned that the power light does not come on and you're getting no response, you may want to attempt a firmware update via HP’s website. If the printer isn't responding:
- Unplug the printer for 30 seconds and reconnect it.
- If the printer powers on, download and install the latest firmware update from HP's support site.
6. Factory Reset (if printer responds)
If the printer starts responding, consider resetting it to factory settings:
- Press the Wireless and Cancel buttons simultaneously and hold for a few seconds to restore default settings.
