HP LaserJet P2015d Printer

Hello! I have one issue connected with my printer ( HP LaserJet P2015 Series with serial no. [Personal Information Removed]) My printer don't print and I don't know why. When I tried to add this printer ( even that I use it regularly), I saw that driver is not available. After that I used HP Print and Scan Doctor there was written that my printer has a serious issue. Thank you in advance.

It seems like you’re facing an issue with your HP LaserJet P2015 printer where it’s not printing, and the driver is unavailable. Additionally, HP Print and Scan Doctor reported a serious issue. I’ll guide you through troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue.

1. Check for Printer Driver Issues

  • If the printer driver is missing or not installed correctly, the printer won’t be able to print.

Steps to Install/Reinstall the Driver:

  1. Visit the HP Website:
    • Go to the HP Support page for LaserJet P2015 and enter your printer model.
  2. Download the Latest Driver:
    • Download the latest HP LaserJet P2015 driver for your operating system (Windows or Mac).
  3. Install the Driver:
    • Once downloaded, run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions to install the driver. Make sure you select the correct connection type (USB, network, or wireless).
  4. Restart your Computer:
    • After installation, restart your computer to ensure the changes take effect.

2. Check Printer Connection

  • Ensure that the printer is properly connected to your computer, whether through USB or a network.

  • This tool can help diagnose and fix common printer issues automatically.
    • You can download the HP Print and Scan Doctor from the HP Support website.

4. Check the Printer’s Status

  • Ensure the printer is powered on and check for any error lights on the printer itself (like a paper jam, low toner, or out of paper).
  • If there is an error message on the printer’s display, follow the steps to resolve that issue.
  • Check the printer queue on your computer to make sure there are no stuck print jobs. If there are, clear the queue:
    • Windows: Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers, right-click on your printer, and select See what's printing. Cancel any stuck print jobs.
    • Mac: Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, select your printer, and clear any stuck print jobs.

5. Check the Printer’s Internal Settings (For Network Printers)

    • Print a network configuration page from the printer’s control panel to check the IP address and network status.
    • Ensure the printer’s IP address is correctly set in your computer’s printer settings.
