Hi @Blondie72,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thanks for reaching out — I know how frustrating it can be when your HP ENVY 5661 e-All-in-One Printer just won’t connect and keeps showing a "server is busy" message. Let's get this sorted together.

1. Restart Everything (Printer, Router, Computer)

  • Power off your printer, router, and PC.
  • Wait about 30 seconds.
  • Turn on the router first, and wait for full connection.
  • Then, power on the printer and your PC.

2. Reconnect to Web Services

  • On the printer’s touchscreen, go to:
    • Settings > Web Services > Remove Web Services (confirm if prompted).
  • Once removed, go back and select:
    • Settings > Web Services Setup > Enable Web Services.
  • This forces a fresh connection with HP’s servers.

3. Check Your Internet Connection

  • Make sure the printer is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network (not a guest network or public hotspot).
  • You can confirm this from the Wireless settings or Network Summary screen.

4. Use HP Smart App (Optional)

  • Open the HP Smart app on your computer or smartphone.
  • Select your printer > Go to Settings > Web Services or Cloud Services and re-enable from there.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
