Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi, I have an issue with my Color LaserJet Pro M255dw. I had set it up 6 weeks ago, using HP's universal printing PCL 6, and have not has issues until last week. The computer is connected by LAN cable, and i have used the TCP/IP to set up the printer as well.

Last week, after turning the computer on as normal, I tried to print, just for it to be stuck in the queue, with the printer now being detected as "offline." I have tried to reset the printer, factory reset the printer, try a different cable for ethernet, try to restart the computer(which allowed a single page of the queue to print, while the comoutee was booting), clear the queue by going into sys32, reinstall the driver, re-add the printer to the computers "devices and printers" list, all of which did not work... but the latest option i had tried was to try and restart the print spooler in services, which worked!

The only issue is the printer still reads as offline, and the only was to print is to load every job individually into the queue, and restart the spooler for every individual job.

Is there a way to go back to not having to restart the spooler over and over again? Or even just to havr the printer detect as online?

Thank you

Check and make sure that the driver is configured to use a TCP/IP port and not a WSD port. The offline issue you are having is very commonly associated with WSD ports and Windows has a habit of mucking with drivers.
