The last few days my printer won't print more than 1 line, then it sucks the paper back in and spits it out, ive run a clean, reset, cleared app data.. everything the virtual assistant suggested and its still doing it

Welcome to the HP Support Community

 

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP LaserJet MFP M28W printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue

 

  • Have you made any changes post that this issue raised
  • Do you see any lights blinking on the control panel of the printer
  • Have you observed an error code on the display 
     Is your printer connected to WIFI or Wired

 

 

Let's try resetting the printer and check once

 

1) Take out the cartridges.  

2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.  

3) Wait for 30 seconds.   

4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not into a surge protector.  

5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.

Update the printer firmware

Hello, its a wireless printer and still only printing off 1 or 2 lines. Ive left the ink out and printer off for a week and its still now working. Its been reset 2 or 3 times, ive run a couple of cleans and done everything suggested but still not working. I currently home school so desperately need my printer working. Thanks
