Hi @Ethan119
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
Your HP Envy Photo 7830 being stuck on the loading screen is a frustrating issue, but there are a few troubleshooting steps that might help:
Perform a Hard Reset
- Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord from the back.
- Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
- Wait 60 seconds, then reconnect the power cord and turn the printer back on.
Check for Firmware Updates
- If the printer starts but remains stuck, updating the firmware might resolve the issue.
- Visit HP’s official support page and install the latest firmware update.

Try a Power Drain
- Disconnect the power cord from both the printer and the wall outlet.
- Remove any USB cables connected to the printer.
- Wait 2–3 minutes, then press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
- Plug the power cable directly into a wall outlet (avoid surge protectors) and turn the printer on.
