Officejet 6950
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've been using the printer for 3 months and everything was OK until today, the printer keeps asking for the setup cartridges.

I have a subscription on ink delivered to me at home so I thought I'd install the new ones, but I keep getting the same message and now the printer still won't print. Please help!

Hi KrazyToad,

I'm sorry but there's no message in my inbox. My inbox remains empty.

Are you sure you sent me the instructions?

Kind regards.

There seems to be a Tool issue on my side and the private messages are not going through.

Please try these steps

From the printer Home screen Press BL, BL, BL, BL Buttons, in sequence. Note: BL stands for the bottom left button which is the Back Arrow. The buttons will not be highlighted, you will have to press the buttons in sequence outside the home screen on the printer. Touch Support Menu. Select Reset Menu and Touch OK. Look for OOBE Reset or Trade OOBE Note: If you do not see a similar option under Reset, Look for it under System Configuration after entering the Support Menu If it's enabled > disable it or if it's disabled > enable it

Try using regular cartridges
