I have had this problem for a while. I have two HP Printers at home, one is the All in One Deskjet 3515 and the other is laserjet monochrome printer. I bought Laserjet for quick batch printing.
Anyway this Deskjet printer I bought in 2013 and worked well for three years, but for last couple of years it has been printing out blank pages on each job. And it does not print anything on those pages. Like just takes in and ejects out many pages one after the other.
It started with one or two pages on each job. but now it keeps on ejecting pages as i keep on feeding it with the pages. At each page, the paper goes in a bit and the printer shows Paper Jam message, once i press ok. it takes in the rest of the page and ejects out and then feeds on the next page even when the page is not completely out.(that is supposed to happen normally)
It takes me sometimes even an hour to make two copies of documents, as i have to wait for its shenanigans to be over so as to copy next doc.
And this also happens when printing from my pc or my laptop or even my phone. I have the latest driver in my windows 10 PC so dont tell me to update the driver. And i also use an ubuntu linux machine and it is showing the same problem.
I have used it's inbuilt feature of cleaning as well and nothing changed. I found a guide that told me to clean the page roller with a damp cloth (and then resetting and cleaning the printer) and i even tried that just before coming here as that failed too.
I used another all in one before this one and it malfunctioned as well (6/7 years ago ,hardware issue), i am quite dissatisfied by HP deskjet printers.

I reviewed your post and I understand that the printer is printing blank pages.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I recommend you follow the below steps and check if it helps.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Remove USB cable, if present.
- Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
- Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
- Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle.
If you continue facing the issue, then root uninstall the printer and then reinstall it and check whether the issue is resolved.
Here is how it is done.
1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete' or 'Remove Device'
6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
13.) Restart the PC
14.) Download and install the printer software from the below link.
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
