Hey there! @Kerrahad, Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums!

I understand your printer keeps printing from photo tray instead of the main tray.

Don't worry I'll try to help you out.

Did you make any changes to your printer?

Are you using a IOS device or Android device to print?

Press the Setup Menu on the printer>> Preferences>>Device-Printer Tray Select>>Main Tray.

The product might not pick up photo paper if the paper size and type in the photo paper tray do not match the size and type settings in the print driver. This feature of the product helps to avoid wasting ink and paper if the paper is not what you expected.

If you still have issues you have to use a PC to change the tray settings. As you cannot change the tray settings using a phone.

For Mac try the steps recommended below.

Launch the HP print driver window from common Mac applications and learn how to navigate the different tabs and menus.
Open the document or photo on your computer, click File, then click Print. For the Photos app, click the Print button at the bottom of the window.
The printer settings window opens. Click Show Details at the bottom of the window, if necessary, to view all available menus.
Select your printer in the Printer menu.
Select an option in the Presets menu that applies to your print job or paper type.
Click the unnamed print options menu at the window separator bar to select more settings options.
Select Paper Type/Quality or Media & Quality print options menu: Select options from the Feed from or Paper Source menu
Paper Feed print options menu: Select the tray or feed method, or select Printer Default or Auto Select  to change paper tray settings.

For windows try the steps recommended below.

Launch the HP print driver window from common Windows applications and learn how to navigate the different tabs and menus.
Open the document or photo on your computer, click File or the menu icon, then click Print.
A Print or Print Pictures window or pane opens with general print job settings, including the menu to select the printer you want to print to.
Open Document Properties or Printing Preferences from the main print window or pane to access the HP print driver settings. The button or link name varies depending on the app you are printing from.
Microsoft Word: Click Printer Properties
Paint and WordPad: Click Preferences
Windows Photo Viewer: Click Options... in the lower right corner of the screen, then click Printer Properties... in the Print Settings window
Adobe PDF Reader: Click Properties
To view the different settings, click the tabs along the top of the window. To access more settings, click the Advanced button that is often located on the Layout tab.
Select Source, Source is or Paper source menu on the Paper/Quality or Features tab to change paper tray settings.
