Microsoft Windows 11

I have a HP LaserJet Pro MFP m426fdn printer, I have recently purchased a new HP laptop with Windows 11, the printer is printing multiple pages with the following:

POST /ipp/printer HTTP/1/1

Content-Lenght: 186 (this number will vary as it keeps printing)

Content-Type: application/ipp

HOST: localhost

(black smiley face) with a lot of numbers and letters signaling attritbutes.

The only way to stop this from happening is to shut down.

I have tried to remove and update drivers, cancelled all print jobs (queue is clear) remove and reinstall printer, disconnected from the printer (power source and from laptop) and I have also stopped and restarted the printer spool from the service.msc.

What else can i do to keep this from happening?

Often caused by wrong or not fully compatible print driver. On your PC go to control panel and right click on devices and printers and select open from the drop down menu. Then right click on the icon for your printer and select "printer properties" from the drop down menu. On the next window click on the advanced tab which will show you which driver is installed. If it says Microsoft IPP or some sort of Class driver, that is going to be your issue.
