When I try to print a document (Word/Excel), the text on paper is moved more than .5 cm to the left. I have tried to run the alignment as described in step 12 (https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-deskjet-3630-all-in-one-printer-series/7172306/model/8296174...) a number of times, but to no avail.
Who can help me out?

If the issue is due to settings in Word (for example), the following might be helpful.
- Double check Print Settings, Page Setup.
- Set Printer Properties to "Preserve Layout" and "Booklet = None"
For example, printing Word document duplex (two sided), standard paper size:
Word document > File > Options > Advanced
(Scroll down to) section Print:
CHECK Scale content for A4 or 8.5 x 11" paper sizes
Cancel (or OK if changes are made)
Word document > File > Print >
Check page size = Letter (or A4 depending on your region)
Check the Margins (Normal)
Check Page Setup > tab Margins
Verify (Adjust) Margin settings match the "Margins" set on the print page (2.54 cm / 1 inch)
Verify (Adjust) Gutter set to 0 (zero)
Cancel (or OK if changes are made)
Check Printer Properties > tab Printing Shortcut
Verify (Adjust) Borderless to OFF (if setting applies to your printer)
tab Layout > Advanced
Verify (Adjust) Preserve Layout "Yes"
Verify (Adjust) Booklet "None"
Cancel (or OK if changes are made)
Or, Test if issue is within Word:
Reinstall / Update your PDF Reader (Adobe Reader DC / Foxit Reader)
- HINT: Watch out for and UNCHECK unwanted extra software
Save the Word document as a PDF file
Open the PDF file > set / adjust settings > Print
No joy? Print PDF as an image:
Open the offending PDF file > File > Print > Advanced >>
- Set the printer select the colors
And / Or
- Print the PDF file as an image

Hi
Thanks for the reply. In general, pdf printing goes rather well - but not when trying to print from Word (or Excel, for that matter). When printing a pdf, I do get the preserve layout paramete (I presume):
But when I print from Word, I get the following:
Any suggestions?
Kindest regards,
