I have the hp officejet pro 6978. I am trying to print onto Cricut sticker paper. It will print, but it is cutting off the first part of the images. So only 1/2 - 3/4 of my image is produced on the page. I tried sliding my sticker image down, so it would print further down the page, but it was still cut off. Has anyone had success? I really don't want to get a new printer to support my cricut.

Welcome to HP forums, I see that you are getting issues in print on Cricut sticker paper.

Did you try to print on this kind of the paper before?

If not, refer this HP document under paper-handling specifications to find if your printer supports this paper:- Click here

If yes, update the printer firmware

Refer this HP document for the steps to update the printer firmware:- Click here

Perform a power reset

  1. Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
  3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  4. Wait at least 30 seconds.
  5. Plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector and printer.
  6. Turn on the printer.

Let me know how it goes.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.
