I have been using an hp envy 7640 fpr well over a year (probably 2). I frequently get an offline message. This time, when I reinstalled the driver, I get an error message (Code 41) stating that it is not activated. Any soutions?

Performing a power reset and then running HP Print and Scan Doctor may resolve the issue, let's try these steps:
1.) Turn off your PC, Printer and Router.
2.) Unplug the power from the back of router, wait for 10 -15 seconds.
3.) Connect the power cable back to router, turn on the router first. Wait till the router to initialize.
4.) Turn on Printer and PC.
5.) Download and run HP print and Scan Doctor from here.
