Hi.
I am having problems with the printer only printing three colours. I have performed all the nessesary checks on the print heads etc with all checks returning as good.
I am now wondering if the pipe leading from the cartridge to the print head is blocked.
Is it possible to clear any blockage and if so can someone post a guide to dissasemble the printer and perform maintenance on it to to get the red colour working again.
Many thanks and kind regards.

Welcome to the HP Forums, this is a great location to get assistance! I read your post and see that your HP Officejet Pro K8600 Printer is not printing in red. I would like to help you resolve this issue.
Increase the print quality mode
-
In the application you are printing from, click File, then Print.
-
Make sure the printer is selected, then click Properties.
-
Select the Features tab.
-
In the Print Quality area, chose the next higher quality setting (if the current setting is Draft, choose Normal. If the current setting is Normal, choose Best).
Clean the printheads.
-
Make sure the printer is loaded with unused white paper.
-
Open the printer Toolbox and select the Services tab.
-
Click Clean Printheads. A Clean Printheads window opens. Click the Clean button.
Align the printheads.
-
Make sure the printer is loaded with unused white paper.
-
Open the printer Toolbox and select the Services tab.
-
Click Align Printheads. The Align Printheads window opens. Click Align.
-
The printer prints an alignment page. The lines in the patterns should appear to be straight. Click OK when the page finishes printing.
Calibrate the linefeed.
-
Make sure the printer is loaded with unused white paper.
-
Open the printer Toolbox and select the Services tab.
-
Click Calibrate Linefeed. The Advanced Linefeed Calibration window opens.
Click here and refer the document for more assistance.
Let me know how it goes.
Cheers.
