@Sheaman, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It seems like your HP printer is stuck in the "Now Printing" state, which can be frustrating. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
Check Print Queue:
- Open the print queue by clicking on the printer icon in the taskbar.
- If there are any pending print jobs, try canceling them or restarting the printer.
Restart Printer and Computer:
- Turn off the printer, wait for a minute, then turn it back on.
- Restart your computer as well to clear any temporary issues.
Check for Paper Jams:
- Ensure that there are no paper jams or obstructions in the printer. Even a small piece of paper stuck inside could cause issues.
Check Ink/Toner Levels:
- Make sure the ink or toner cartridges are not empty and are properly installed.
Update Printer Drivers:
- Check if the printer drivers are up-to-date. You can go to the HP website and download the latest drivers for your model.
Reset Printer Settings:
- Try performing a factory reset on the printer to clear any configuration issues.
Check Printer Connection:
- If you're using a wireless connection, ensure the printer is properly connected to the network.
- If wired, ensure the USB or Ethernet cable is securely connected.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
