Ho, just bought a new printer, unboxed, set it up and not working. I am using cable, it is online and receives the data. Commences to start up and the suddenly stops and orang light flashes. If i then press the cancel button it,  paper in halfway and stops. I have to forcefully pull out the paper. Any thoughts?

Clear jammed paper from the input tray

Remove any loose or jammed paper that is accessible from the input tray.

  1. Open the toner cartridge access door.

  2. Remove the toner cartridge.

  3. Remove any paper from the input tray.

  4. Use both hands to remove any jammed paper from the input tray.

  5. Install the toner cartridge, and then load plain paper in the input tray.

  6. On the printer control panel, press the Resume/Cancel button .

Reset the printer

  1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.

  2. Unplug the power cord from the power source.

  3. Wait 60 seconds.

  4. Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet and to the printer.
