HP Printer [edited] has no power. It's not turning on.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thank you for reaching out. I understand your HP OfficeJet Pro 8630 e-All-in-One Printer is not powering on. Let’s try a few steps to troubleshoot the issue.

Basic Power Reset

  1. Disconnect the power cable from the back of the printer and from the wall outlet.
  2. Wait at least 60 seconds.
  3. Plug the power cable directly into a wall outlet (not a surge protector or extension cord).
  4. Reconnect it to the printer and try turning it on.


Check the Power Module

  • Make sure the power adapter (if applicable) and the power cord are both in good condition and seated firmly.
  • If possible, try using a different compatible power cord.
