HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 All-in-One Printer

For the past few days I have been trying to print images on a specific type of cardstock and have been having issues getting it to print. I used this printer to print on this paper plenty of times before without fail but now it decided to no longer work. It either prints a blank page or prints the last bit of the document inside the top margin. I keep wasting this expensive paper just to get 10% of my document to print cut off at the top margin. (I have tried iOS, my Chromebook, HP desktop, and even changing the document to a PDF and nothing has worked)

Welcome to the HP Community Forum.

Ideas...

  • Dirty
  • Stuck / Jam
  • Rollers / sensors worn out (older printer)
  • Paper not supported and printer finally refused
  • Settings somehow lost and the paper size / type are not correct for the current job

What to do?

  • Restart everything, including the router that controls the network
  • Clean
  • Reset / Restart Printer as described in the Troubleshooting document
  • Re-Check settings
