Hi @The8bits,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I can imagine how frustrating it must be when your HP OfficeJet Pro 8130e prints only half a page and then unpredictably spits out the rest much later, especially when you're relying on it for timely work. You're not alone in this, and I’m here to help you get it sorted.

Here are the steps to resolve this issue on Windows 11:

1. Use HP Smart’s Diagnose & Fix Tool

This is the fastest and most reliable way to detect and fix issues like stuck print jobs or delayed printing.

  • Download or open the HP Smart app: HP Smart for Windows
  • Click the wrench icon (bottom left) → Select Diagnose & Fix
  • Follow the on-screen instructions

More details: Fix HP Print Job Stuck in Queue | HP® Support.

2. Reset the Printer

Sometimes a simple reset clears internal errors.

  • Turn off the printer
  • Unplug it from the wall for 60 seconds
  • Plug it back in and power it on

3. Check for Firmware Updates

Outdated firmware can cause erratic behavior.

4. Disable Quiet Mode

Quiet Mode can slow down or interrupt printing.

  • Open HP Printer Assistant (search for your printer in Windows)
  • Go to Quiet Mode tab → Set to Off → Click Save Settings

More tips here: HP printers - Slow printing (Windows, macOS) | HP® Support

5. Clear the Print Queue

Sometimes jobs get stuck and cause delays.

  • Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and hit Enter
  • Find Print Spooler, right-click → Stop
  • Go to C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS and delete all files
  • Go back to services.msc, right-click Print SpoolerStart

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
