My printer (HP Envy Inspire 7200) is suddenly only printing part of an image on 5x7 cardstock. It had worked fine in the past. I recently replaced the ink cartridges, aligned and cleaned them. The image now only partially prints and there are black streaks on the backside of the paper.

Hi @VeronicaPS,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Do not worry, I'd be happy to help you!
When a printer is only printing part of an image on a specific paper size like 5x7 cardstock, there are a few potential reasons and solutions you can try to resolve the issue:
Print Settings: Ensure that the print settings are configured correctly for the 5x7 cardstock paper size. Check the settings in your printing application (e.g., Adobe Reader, Microsoft Word) and the printer settings to ensure they match the paper size you're using.
Margins and Scaling: Check the margins and scaling settings in your document and printer settings. Sometimes, the image might exceed the printable area, causing parts to be cut off. Adjusting margins or scaling within the printing preferences might resolve this issue.
Paper Handling: Verify that the 5x7 cardstock is loaded properly into the printer's paper tray or manual feed slot. Adjust the paper guides to ensure the cardstock sits correctly and doesn’t shift during printing.
Printer Driver Update: Ensure that your printer drivers are up-to-date. Visit the HP support website, download the latest drivers for your HP Envy Inspire 7200 printer, and install them on your computer.
Image Size and Resolution: Check the size and resolution of the image you're trying to print. If the image resolution is low or the size doesn’t match the paper dimensions, it might result in parts of the image being cut off during printing.
Test Print: Try printing a test page or a different image to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is specific to the image or document you're trying to print.
If none of these solutions work, it might be beneficial to contact HP phone support for further assistance.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
