Hi @Dibyo_printer,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
If your HP printer is printing blank pages, even though it has ink, here are a few steps you can follow to resolve the issue:
Step-by-Step Fixes
1. Check Ink Levels
- Make sure the cartridges are not empty or low.
- Remove and reinstall the cartridges to ensure proper contact.
- Remove any protective tape from new cartridges.
2. Print a Test Page
- Use the Information button on the printer or the HP Smart app to print a test page.
- If the test page is also blank, continue to the next step.
3. Clean the Printhead
- On printers with a screen:
Go to Settings > Tools > Clean Printhead - On printers without a screen:
Use the HP Smart app > Select your printer > Printer Settings > Print Quality Tools > Clean Printhead
Run the cleaning cycle up to three times if needed.
4. Check Print Settings
- Make sure the correct paper type, color settings, and quality are selected.
- On Windows:
Go to File > Print > Printer Properties > Paper/Quality - On Mac:
Use Preview > File > Print > Show Details
5. Update Printer Firmware
- Use the HP Smart app or visit the HP Software & Drivers page to check for firmware updates.
6. Try Another Document or App
- Sometimes the issue is with the file or app. Try printing from Notepad, WordPad, or another PDF viewer.
