My printer wouldn't print. I turned it off and back on. Still won't print. I noticed My printer had yellow light flashing. I looked that up and it says cartridge issue. When I open it up the interior cartridge lights are not flashing. I replaced the black ink cartridge anyways. Now it prints but prints blank pages or only color pages. I did check the ink and it is wet, not dry. I have checked to make sure installed correctly and reinstalled multiple times. Still printing blank pages.

Hi @TLDeLeon66,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you've already taken some good troubleshooting steps, but it's unfortunate that you're still experiencing issues with your HP printer. Here are some additional steps you can try to resolve the problem.

  • Check for All Cartridges: Ensure that all the ink cartridges in your printer are installed correctly and are not empty. Sometimes a single empty cartridge can cause printing issues, even if you're primarily trying to print in black and white.
  • Clean Printhead: It's possible that the printhead may be clogged. Most HP printers have a built-in printhead cleaning utility in the printer software or on the printer itself. You can access this through the printer menu or your computer's settings. Run the printhead cleaning cycle a few times and see if that improves print quality.
  • Align Cartridges: After changing cartridges, your printer may need to align them. This is usually done through the printer's software interface. Follow the on-screen instructions to align the cartridges.
  • Check for Driver Issues: Sometimes driver problems can cause printing issues. Make sure you have the latest drivers for your printer installed on your computer. You can usually download them from the HP website.
  • Check for Software Settings: Check the print settings on your computer. Ensure you've selected the correct printer, and that the settings match your printing needs (e.g., color or black and white, page size, etc.).
  • Test Page: Try printing a test page from the printer itself. Most HP printers have a function for this in the menu. This will help you determine if the issue is with the printer hardware or your computer.
  • Factory Reset: If none of the above steps work, you can try a factory reset of your printer. This will usually reset all settings to their defaults, and you may need to set it up again.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
