Hello,

At least once out of every 10 times I print my printer will not print the item I sent to the printer, but will instead print out endless- mostly blank- pages with approximately 3 lines (more or less on each page) of code (looks like windings),  This is getting very frustrating and it is wasting a lot of paper and ink.  I have reinstalled the drivers before and it does not seem to solve the problem.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You,

Mike

Is this USB or network connection. This error is caused by a corrupt print job caused by either a bad cable, wrong driver or just simply a print job that is bad. Also common if this is a new printer and your old printer was on the same iP address and a job is getting sent to the old driver.

Thank you for your response.  It is a USB hookup, so I figured the easiest solution would be to try a new cable.  This did not work, however.  The printer is new and I think you must be correct that the old printer may have been on the same IP address.  If you could explain how to rectify this situation, I would really appreciate it.

Thank You,

Mike
