I reloaded the printer again, same printer but 2nd one is the direct connect (USB) cable to my desk top. Keeps asking for WPS even thought it is direct connect. The message say number on my printer documentation but it isn't on my printer labels nor on the paperwork. Now the later messages say to enter the router even though I'm connected directly. The 10 digit router number doesn't work. Then loaded the old CD printer driver that came with it even though it was XP back then. I'm on windows 10 but I think Windows 10 updated it. I printer correctly that day. This week I'm trying to print a MS word document with an imbedded pictures. In print preview it looks good, correct layout, correct letter size and margins yet I get 1 quarter of the picture. Then insta ink ups my price because the printer won't print correctly as I debug it! HP should send al link to download windows 10 driver that I can write to a new CD. HP should fix the WPS bug where it never works! I'll attach the file from my Hard drive if it lets me.🤐OK figures - doesn't allow you to upload the Word doc.

This week back to same problem. I can't upload the MS word document. I'm not going to delete and reinstall my drivers every time I want to print! I'll struggle to resolve this even thought I know Insta-Ink is going to penalize me for printing these junk pages to see what fixes it. I think updates that I can't control are messing up my MS Word or printer driver or spooler set up.
I'm going to see what happens if I unselect the spooler. 4/17/20 si9mple chainsaw document with specs and parts numbers but the inserted pictures is not the correct size when it prints. Print preview and page view it looks perfect, well within the margins, text wrapping selected to top & bottom, picture cropped to keep only the center of the picture not all the extra web stuff from the screen capture. So Frustrating where I never had this problem over the last 8 or so years!

I'm expecting that they will say it is Microsoft Office 2007 Picture Manager and Windows 10 issue since the printer prints new documents from both computers. The only problem is when you save a pictures or do a screen capture into MS Word and resize it and crop the picture so it is Ok within the margins of the correct paper size as shown on the display. Looks Good on Print preview but the picture is expanded when it prints so only the top left 1/3rd of the picture is there and fills a large area of the page. However if I E-mail it to my wife and she prints it from her Lap top through Wifi it prints correctly! I will continue ot debug this new incompatibility issue. I like MS Office 2007 because it had all the programs and you ACTUALLY OWNED THE PROGRAM. Office 365 you have to rent it every year which makes it very expensive. I think Microsoft in Windows 10 caused the new problem to mess up Office 2007 users starting 2020. My wife is not using MS Office at all, as she just uses her computer for E-mail, shopping and pictures. That is the only difference I can see yet she can view and print the e-mailed document. Where from my USB connected printer, same printer, the picture blows up and wastes my ink. I have "Insta-Ink" so this problem is killing me. Do you think HP will help even if the printer prints black & color, Excel, MS word text but just not imbedded pictures anymore. I could try another picture program. I can no longer print processes nor manuals as I have for many years doing the exact same thing. Some of the settings are not explained and don't appear to have anything to do with printing. I'll have to see is if keeping picture aspect ratio has anything to do with it. I even tried resize option from large picture to large E-mail picture which put a very small small picture on the 8.5" x11" page but again the picture gets magnified when to full size you print it but not in print preview if printed from my Dell Inspiron, Windows 10!! Any ideas please write jgoulet4@comcast.net. I'm afraid to uninstall the Windows Picture Manager and as I may not be able to reload it from Office 2007. Unless I can find the CD. spec on display_print out different
