Hi @DB36,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP printer prints wirelessly from your laptop but not from your PC, the issue may stem from the PC's connection, driver setup, or printer configuration. Here are some troubleshooting steps.

Verify the Printer Connection on the PC

Check Printer Status:

  • On your PC, go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners.
  • Ensure the printer appears in the list and is marked as Ready.
  • If it shows as Offline, right-click on the printer icon and select Set as Default Printer or use the option to bring it online.

Re-add the Printer:

  • Remove the printer from the list by selecting it and clicking Remove Device.
  • Add it back by clicking Add a Printer or Scanner, then selecting your printer from the list.

Update or Reinstall the Printer Driver

Update Driver:

  • Go to Device Manager on the PC.
  • Expand Printers or Universal Serial Bus controllers.
  • Right-click your printer and select Update Driver > Search automatically for updated driver software.

Reinstall Driver:

  • Uninstall the printer driver via Control Panel > Programs and Features.
  • Download and install the latest driver from the HP Support website.

Verify the Network Connection

Confirm the Printer's IP Address:

  • Print a Network Configuration or Wireless Test Report from the printer.
  • Ensure the PC and printer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

Ping the Printer:

  • On the PC, open the Command Prompt and type:

ping <Printer_IP_Address>

  • If it fails, check your network connection and settings.

Clear Pending Print Jobs

  • Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  • Right-click on your printer and select See what's printing.
  • Cancel all pending jobs and try printing again.

Troubleshoot Windows Print Spooler

  • Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
  • Find Print Spooler, right-click, and select Restart.

Test from Another Application

  • Ensure the issue is not specific to a single application by trying to print from a different program.

HP Print and Scan Doctor

  • Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool from the HP website. This tool can automatically diagnose and fix common printer issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
