OfficeJet Pro 6230
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have just reinstalled my OfficeJet Pro 6230 multiple times on a new network. I have tried installing it on ehternet and on WiFi.

Everyting looks fine, I can access the printer in HP Smart and connect to the built-in webserver.

I have been able to print using the email (HP eprint) and it works.

BUT everytime I try to print a test-page from my Windows 10 workstation there is a looooong timeout and then the printer prints some xml:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8">

                                                                        <read>

                                                                                     <path>/status.xml</path>

What is wrong??

I have reinstalled hp software and tried to reinstall the printer multiple times with the same result...

Welcome to HP forums, I see that you are getting slow printing issue.

Follow the below steps to fix this issue

Reset the printer

  1. Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.

  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.

  4. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
