My printer is on wireless.  I wanted to interrupt the printing, and as the last page came out I pressed the shut-down button.  Big mistake.  The printer started shutting down but now is frozen in that position and won't shut down.  The light keeps blinking.   I cleared the queue of documents.   I tried a number of things, like restarting the computer, but nothing works.  Any suggestions?

With the power on, unplug the unit from the wall outlet.  Wait 10 mins.  Plug the unit back into the wall outlet not using any power strip or surge protector.  Power the unit up if it does not.  Status now?

Do this 3-4 times.  If the same error occurs, your printer needs service.
