Printer quit receiving print jobs from Quickbooks program

Hi I have an HP Photosmart C4680 printer.  It will not print invoices from my QB pro 2008.  This problem happened overnight.  I haven't installed anything new on my pc.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled my printer and QB program several times and still won't print my invoices.  I can print from Word Document, I can print from my online banking.  I click print preview on my invoice and click print.  The print job never shows up in my print queue.  Any help is highly appreciated!

Since the issue is happening only when printing from Quick books, try running the Quickbooks PDF Print Repair Tool from this Link: http://dlm2.download.intuit.com/akdlm/SBD/QuickBooks/QBPDF/QuickBooksDesktopPDFTool.exe

Thank you so much for your reply!  I will try the fix!  I did chat with the Quickbooks people but they never answered my specific question.  They kept trying to sell me a 300.00 dollar program.  I will give it a try and let you know if the fix works!

Just did the Intuit fix gave me.  Saying printer spool could not be found.  I will go and double check my printers and see if it's there.  If not, I will uninstall and reinstall or do a repair on my QB program.  Let you know how that all goes.  Again thank you so much!

UGH!  Maybe I need to totally uninstalled the QB program.  The fix link says QBprint file can't be found.  Also named a few other things that can't be found.  I will clean everything related to QB out and try reinstalling and go from there.  Update you when i get this all done.

Pulling my hair out!  LOL!  Okay...I uninstalled and reinstalled QB pro 2008 and my HP photosmart C4680.  Same exact problem exists.  I can print from everything except my QB program.  This  has me baffled beyond baffled.  I am guessing since I have uninstalled and reinstalled both I don't have any of the updates.  On Intuits website the oldest QB pro they show is 2010.  I have my printer set up to automatically download updates.  I will try the chat again with Intuit tomorrow.  They are offline now.  There has to be a solution somewhere. (((( power of positive thinking!!! 🙂 )))

After doing pete and repete several times; I went to my husbands office and got his HP printer. I was able to print my invoices!  His printer is ancient!  LOL  HP Officejet 5610xi All-in-one.  I still have the same issues with my printer HP Photosmart C4680.  I can print from everywhere else but will not print my QB invoices.  Are there any fixes that might help my printer?  (HP Photosmart C4680)

OMG Krazy Toad!  This is insane!  I decided to uninstall and reinstall the printer one more time since my husbands printer worked and printed my invoices.  WA-LA!!!  I just printed an invoice from MY HP Photosmart C4680!  Do you have any clue what may have caused this???  I am keeping my fingers crossed and am hoping it keeps printing from my QB program!
