The solution from @MikeG1231 also resolved the issue for me.
On the printer

Setup
Tools
Restore Factory Defaults

Then I had to connect the printer to everything from scratch.
On windows laptops, I had to "Remove device" then "Add a printer" to reconnect.

Thanks a lot! Resetting the printer (Envy 5030)  to factory settings on the touch screen solved the problem for me.

I'm running on a Mac, and have been having the same problem as all the others on here.  Error code OXB3D4FA2B initially, then OXB3 and different numbers subsequently following restarts.  The printer defaults to theses error codes after any restarts, and the operational buttons no longer work, but just flash.

I noticed there has been a software update very recently, and my 5020 was working fine prior to that.

So come on HP - this is a problem caused almost certainly by your latest update.  Sort it out!!!

This has been causing me no end of problems having to keep rebooting it every time it errors. I've lost count how many error codes I've had.

Done the factory restore and so far so good

Get it sorted HP.

Disabling Web Services worked permanently for me on an HP Envy 5000
