My printer is currently displaying the message "indicated cartridges are not intended for use in this printer".
A bit of backstory...
My black cartridge ran out of ink so I purchased the compatible ink from Amazon Prime. The replacement cartridge burst or leaked within the first use, which rendered it unusable. I let it dry out and after some difficulty trying to find the right support on the site, I returned it via Amazon and purchased a new set.
However, with the new set it is now giving me the message mentioned above, and now I cannot use the printer. The printer is out of warranty but it was the dodgy ink cartridge that did this. Am I going to purchase need a new printer now? I would welcome advice on this.
For reference the printer is an HP Envy 4520 and it was using compatible HP 302 cartridges.

Hello!
I have a HP Photosmart D7160 printer. I brought it with me from Canada. It worked very well here, in Sweden. I have changed the cartridges two times since I am here with no issues. I have now purchased HP cartridges from Ireland and all of them are being rejected with message to have right number 02. I did use some with no name bought in Sweden and since then, the printer is having issues, The printer would not recongnise those cartridges.
How can I overturn this and make the printer work with legit HP cartridges. It is the best printer I have had and would like it to work.
I have tried and did several times what is suggested (unplugg, plugg back, remove cartridges, etc. etc.).
Thank you for your help.
