Product: Officejet Pro 8500A
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I turn on my Officejet Pro 8500A, it takes almost ten minutes for it to self-check and clean print heads before it will print.  The printer is several years old and seems to take longer to self-check than it used to.

Is the Printer connected directly to the wall outlet? If not, please do.

Even with the computer and printer connected with a USB cable, the serial number would not display.
