I am struggling to print on my HP OfficeJet 250 Mobile Printer. It shows a paper jam error, however, there is no paper jam at all. I've tried things I've seen online but to no avail.

Hi @kalebr16 ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are facing an issue with your HP OfficeJet 250 Mobile Printer is showing a paper jam error but there's no visible jam, try these steps to resolve the issue:
Step 1: Power Cycle the Printer
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Remove the battery if applicable.
- Wait at least 2-3 minutes before plugging it back in.
- Turn the printer back on and try printing again.
Step 2: Check for Hidden Paper Debris
- Open the rear access door and look for any tiny scraps of paper stuck inside.
- Use a flashlight to inspect the paper path carefully.
- If you find any bits of paper, gently remove them.
- Close the rear access door securely.
Step 3: Reset the Printer
- While the printer is on, unplug the power cord from the printer and the wall outlet.
- Wait 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall outlet.
- Turn the printer on and see if the error clears.
Step 4: Clean the Rollers
- Turn off the printer and unplug it.
- Dampen a lint-free cloth with distilled water and gently clean the rollers inside the printer.
- Wait for the rollers to dry before turning the printer back on.
Step 5: Check for Sensor Issues
- Dust or dirt on the paper jam sensor can trigger a false error.
- Open the printer and carefully clean the paper path sensors with a soft, dry cloth.
Step 6: Update Printer Firmware
- Go to HP's support page and check for firmware updates.
- Install any available updates for your printer model.
Step 7: Perform a Hard Reset
- Remove the battery (if applicable).
- Hold the power button for 30 seconds while the printer is unplugged.
- Reinsert the battery (if removed) and plug the printer back in.
- Turn it on and see if the error persists.
If the error still occurs after trying these steps, there may be a faulty sensor or roller mechanism inside the printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
