Hi @notiiboy, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP LaserJet MFP 130fw is showing a supply error even after replacing the toner and drum, try the following troubleshooting steps:

1. Check for Proper Installation

  • Ensure that the toner cartridge and drum unit are correctly installed.
  • Remove both the drum and toner, then reinsert them firmly.

2. Clean the Contact Points

  • Power off the printer and unplug it.
  • Remove the toner and drum unit.
  • Use a lint-free cloth to clean the metal contact points on both the cartridge and inside the printer.
  • Reinstall the components and power on the printer.

3. Check for Counter Reset

Some printers require a manual reset after replacing the toner or drum:

  • Check the printer menu to see if there is a reset option for the toner/drum counter.
  • If not, try printing a Supplies Status page to verify if the printer recognizes the new supplies.

4. Ensure Genuine HP Toner & Drum

  • If you’re using third-party or refilled cartridges, the printer may not recognize them.
  • Try using a genuine HP toner and drum unit.

5. Update the Printer Firmware

  • Go to HP support website, download, and install the latest firmware update.
  • Sometimes, supply errors occur due to outdated firmware.

6. Perform a Power Reset

  • Turn off the printer, unplug it from power, and wait for 5-10 minutes.
  • Reconnect the power cable and turn it back on.

7. Run HP Print and Scan Doctor

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
