I have a DeskJet 4155e. About 10 days ago my printer shutdown. When I press the power button, three orange lights come on for about 30 seconds. Then the printer shuts down again. I’m unsure why this issue is happening all of the sudden. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi @MBW7792,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP DeskJet 4155e printer is shutting down 30 seconds after pressing the power button, it could be due to a few different reasons. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try.
- Check the power source: Make sure the printer is plugged into a working electrical outlet or power strip. If it's plugged into a power strip, try plugging it directly into the wall outlet to see if that resolves the issue.
- Check the power cable: Ensure that the power cable is securely connected to both the printer and the power source. If the power cable is damaged, try replacing it with a new one.
- Reset the printer: Sometimes resetting the printer can resolve the issue. To do this, turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source. Wait for 30 seconds and then plug it back in and turn it on.
- Update firmware: If the printer's firmware is outdated, it may cause issues with the power management. Check for any available updates on the HP website and follow the instructions to install them.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
