Printer doesn't print all lines in a Word Document. It prints Photos completely. Ink levels are OK, but yellow bars are missing on test page. I cleaned print heads.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have read about your HP Photosmart D110a printer and getting print quality issues and the printer doesn't print all lines in a Word Document.
However, I will need a few details to provide an accurate solution,
- Print from the different application and check if tat prints fine?
- When did this issue start?
- Did you do any hardware or software changes to the printer or the computer recently?
Meanwhile:
Use an automated tool to clean the printhead.
-
Load plain white paper in the input tray.
-
Touch the button (
) next to the Setup icon (
) in the lower-left corner of the control panel.
-
Touch the Right Arrow button (
) to select Tools, and then touch OK.
-
Touch the Right Arrow button (
) to select Clean Printhead, and then touch OK. The printer starts the cleaning process.
-
Review the print quality on the printhead test page. If the print quality is still unacceptable, follow the instructions to run a Second-level clean. You might need to clean the printhead several times to restore optimal print quality.
Click here and refer the document for more steps.
Let me know how it goes.
Cheers.

I had tried the "clean printheads" button within the solutions app on my laptop screen. After reading your comments I went to the printer and scrolled to the tools part and performed another clean printheads. I printed out the "printer status report" and it looked better, but was still missing some lines of print. I printed out the "print quality diagnostic report" and, although it was showing the ink levels were OK, there were no yellow lines in the vertical and horizontal lines.
So I put a new color cartridge in. This improved the printing of words quite a bit, but there was still a bit of blurring.
I repeated the clean printheads command a couple of times and then printed out "printer status report" and "print diagnostic report" and finally all the black printed words were clear and all of the colors were showing up on the lines.
There may have been some ink left in the old color cartridge, but apparently there was not any yellow available. I'm not sure why this would affect the printing of black words, but it did. I thank you for your suggetions and I learned quite a bit from watching all the you tube videos on how to clean printheads.
When all else fails, try a new cartridge before you toss out your printer!
