HP OfficeJet Pro 8022e All-in-One Printer

This is the second time my printer has stopped working.  The first time it appeared that unless I signed up for a more expensive ink package then it would not work so I did and then it worked.  This time it has developed a “printer head” issue on the day the warranty ran out.  It is not a printer that is used very much and it is exactly 2 years old.  The printer head is not something I can fix myself and the only thing that comes up on the website if packages to extend my warranty.  Logging the issue has not worked as the error code is not accepted.  I am sorry but this appears to me to be HP tampering with my printer in order to force me to pay for extended packages.  Please switch it back on.  If I cannot get it back on in the next week, I will buy a new printer and it will not be HP.  Does anyone have any advice?
