Mac running Sonoma
Finally figured out my printer is in photo mode. It has been printing everything so slowly like it's printing a photo. I figured this out because when paper was out it asked me to load paper tray with letter sized photo paper. Please help this grandma.

This printer is not compatible with Mac Sonoma 14.
If your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e printer is stuck in photo mode, you can try the following steps to resolve the issue:
Reset the Printer:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for a few minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on.
Restart the Printer:
- Press the Power button to turn off the printer.
- Wait for a few seconds, then press the Power button again to turn it back on.
Check Print Settings:
- On your computer, open the document or photo you want to print.
- Select "File" > "Print" and check the print settings.
- Ensure that the correct paper size, type, and quality settings are selected.
Reset Printer Preferences:
- Open the Control Panel on your computer.
- Go to Devices and Printers.
- Right-click on your printer and select "Printing preferences."
- Click on the "Advanced" tab and then click on "Reset printing system."
- Click "OK" to confirm.
Update Printer Firmware:
- Visit the HP support website and download the latest firmware for your printer model.
- Follow the instructions to update the printer's firmware. Click here, If you do not find firmware or drivers, this printer is not compatible yet with Mac Sonoma 14, until the updates are available.
Reset the Printer to Factory Settings:
- On the printer's control panel, navigate to the Settings menu.
- Select "Printer Maintenance" or a similar option.
- Select "Restore" or "Reset" to reset the printer to its factory settings.
- If the issue persists, contact HP support for further assistance. There may be a hardware problem with the printer that requires repair or replacement.
