Hi @Ken-Ray-2,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP printer is getting stuck on "Gathering Printer Information" when trying to print from your iPhone 15, you can try the following troubleshooting steps.
Check Printer Connection:
- Make sure your HP printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your iPhone.
- Ensure that the printer is turned on and in a ready state.
Restart Devices:
- Restart both your iPhone 15 and the HP printer. This can help refresh the connection and resolve any temporary issues.
Update Firmware/Software:
- Check for firmware or software updates for your HP printer. Updating the printer firmware can often resolve compatibility issues.
Reinstall Printer on iPhone:
- On your iPhone, go to "Settings" > "Printers & Scanners."
- Find your HP printer in the list and tap on it.
- Tap "Delete Printer" to remove it.
- Add the printer again by tapping "Add Printer" and selecting your HP printer from the list.
Reset Network Settings on iPhone:
- Go to "Settings" > "General" > "Reset."
- Choose "Reset Network Settings."
- This will reset Wi-Fi networks and passwords, so make sure you have the necessary information to reconnect to your Wi-Fi network.
Printer App:
- Ensure that you have the latest HP printer app installed on your iPhone. Some printers may require the HP app for optimal performance.
Check Printer Status:
- On the printer's control panel, check for any error messages or issues. Resolve any issues displayed on the printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
