When replacing HP Laserjet M234sdwe toner cartridge with new one, err 75 appeared and after that the display shows constant zero circulation - does't recognize neither new toner, nor old one.

Can you help me solve the issue?

Thank you in advance.

@Trajana, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Error 75 typically indicates an issue related to recognizing the toner cartridge. Here are some steps you can take to resolve the issue:

Ensure Genuine HP Cartridge: Make sure you are using a genuine HP toner cartridge. HP cannot guarantee the quality and reliability of non-HP cartridges. If you’re unsure, you can verify the authenticity of your cartridge on the HP anti-counterfeit webpage.

Inspect the Toner Cartridge:

  • Open the cartridge access door.
  • Remove the toner cartridge carefully.
  • Check for any damage or missing components on the toner cartridge, especially the memory chip.
  • Ensure that all packaging materials, such as the protective covers and sealing tape, have been removed.
Removing the toner cartridge and checking that the sealing tape is removed

Reinstall the Toner Cartridge:

  • Gently rock the cartridge to distribute toner evenly inside.
  • Reinstall the toner cartridge securely.
  • Close the cartridge access door.

Check Toner Level:

  • Use the HP Smart app or HP Printer Assistant to check the toner level. Ensure the printer is detecting toner correctly.

Inspect and Clean Printer:

  • Power off the printer and unplug it for safety.
  • Inspect the toner cartridge area and clean excess toner with a lint-free cloth, ensuring no debris is affecting the connections.

Reset the Printer:

  • Power off the printer.
  • Unplug the printer from the power source.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
