7740 printer

Bought the 7740 printer as stated it could print A3, bought genuine HP A3 paper which arrived today and the tray is too small and there is a overhang. The tray has the spacers for A3 though even when these are pushed to the extreme, the paper overhangs. I’m disappointed as I have an old but usable 5550 colour A3 laser printer already and I assumed this new printer purchased a few days ago would take A3. Am I missing something, as surely A3 paper size is universal, so should fit an A3 tray. Thanks in advance

Hi,

You should expend the tray using the button at the inner front side of the tray to load A3 paper.

Sew 'To load B-size paper' on page 16 of its user guide:

thanks, actually had a play around with the tray and it extended. The instructions included are not very clear and obviously I didn’t want to damage a new printer
