I keep getting an error message for the download..It wont update

1. Check Your Internet Connection

  • Make sure your internet connection is stable. If you're using a wireless connection, try switching to a wired connection to rule out any network issues.
  • Ensure that your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer (if you're updating via the network).

2. Restart Printer and Computer

  • Power off your printer and computer.
  • Wait for about 30 seconds and then turn both back on. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve update issues.

3. Check for Windows Updates

  • Sometimes, Windows needs to be fully updated before certain drivers or software updates will install. Try running a Windows Update:
    1. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
    2. Click on Check for updates.
    3. Install any available updates and restart your computer.
